“Caught in the act” of improving our quality of life
• Margaret Boroughf and Richard Lee with MasterWorks Chorale for improving the participation in the arts & cultural activities indicator by encouraging people to participating in, not passively consume, music.
• Clint Neuerburg and Van Pham with the Holland Project’s 3-Minute Film Competition for improving the technology infrastructure & engagement and participation in the arts & cultural activities indicators by hosting a competition that was accessible to everyone since short films can be shot on digital cameras, old thrift store or family hand-held video cameras, or high-tech equipment, and edited on any personal computer.
• Nevada Interactive Media’s Tracy Viselli, Interactive Media Specialist and Ed Lenart, Reynolds School of Journalism Professo</b>r, for improving the technology infrastructure & engagement indicator by organizing the first Nevada Interactive Media Summit to help entrepreneurs, small businesses and innovators explore the impact of interactive media and technology by teaching what they know and collaboratively learning from others to foster our technology sector.
