Nancy Cummings was caught in the act of improving our community’s quality of life through her work with the Washoe County Library System and for spearheading the Truckee Meadows Literate Community Project.  Nancy recently retired from Washoe County after years of serving the community and improving literacy in the Truckee Meadows.

Through her work, Nancy has significantly impacted the Literate Community Quality of Life Indicator, moving it in in a positive direction and improving the overall health of our community.
