Nevada EcoNet executive Director, Lauren Siegel and Nevada EcoNet Board Member and Earth Day Chair, Dennis Lambert were caught in the act of improving our community’s quality of life through their work producing Earth Day 2008. More than 5,000 people attended the event to celebrate the earth and become informed about how to live a sustainable lifestyle to preserve and enhance the wonderful quality of life we enjoy in the Truckee Meadows.

Nevada EcoNet has been producing Earth Day in the Truckee Meadows for the last19 years.  As Northern Nevada’s environmental resource, Nevada EcoNet is positively impacting numerous Quality of Life Indicators including those belonging to the the Natural Environment Indicator category.
