Don Gable, SFC, Nevada Army Guard, was caught in the act of improving our community’s quality of life for the efforts to keep our open spaces clear of abandoned vehicles.  The Guard coordinates and implements the helicopter removal of abandoned vehicles that cannot be removed by land.  Abandoned vehicles left in open space areas are a public safety and fire hazard.

Through his work, Don has positively impacted the Natural Environment Indicator:  open space access & connectivity, as well as the Public Wellbeing Indicator:  perception of safety (as measured by the perception of fire safety).

Join Truckee Meadows Tomorrow in recognizing Don Gable at TMT’s annual meeting December 11th at 7:30 a.m. at Remedee’s Meeting Rooms at Renown.  Click here for more information.
