Caught in the Act Honorees:
• Jason Geddes, City of Reno – for his work on the City of Reno’s Employee Environmental Fair
• Lauren Siegel and Dennis Lambert, Nevada EcoNet –for producing Earth Day 2008
• Karen Ross, Sierra Pacific – for her work on Sierra Pacific Power’s Energy Assistance Expo 2008
• Nancy Cummings – for her work with the Washoe County Library System and collaborative efforts to improve community literacy
These individuals will be honored at TMT’s membership meeting on Thursday, June 26 from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at Remedees meeting room at Renown Health/Advance Medicine Health Building. The meeting is open to the public and will also feature a presentation on civic engagement by Chuck Alvey, Vice Chair of the Advisory Council on Participatory Democracy.
