TMT, as a community-based, membership-driven organization, is also announcing its 2004 membership drive for both individual and business/corporate members. Annual memberships are now available and various levels are offered. Complete information is available on the TMT website at www.quality-of-life.org or by calling TMT's message line at 982-4325.
Entering its 11th year, TMT is an authority, change agent and advocate in improving the community's quality of life through collaboration and partnership. TMT celebrated community successes last fall at its Accentuate the Positive event. The voluntary adopt an indicator and quality of life compact programs work to improve a number of local issues in the following areas: economic vitality, education, health, land use and infrastructure, natural environment, and public safety and welfare. TMT's annual report is a part of the Reno Gazette-Journal's Nevada Living, where new advocacy initiatives will be announced this April. TMT has been supported by an initial $750,000 grant from Washoe Medical Center.
