Accentuate the Positive Nominations Now Open

Truckee Meadows Tomorrow (TMT) opened the nomination process for the Accentuate the Positive (ATP) awards, a biennial, community-wide celebration scheduled for October 5, 2007. Silver Stars are awarded for each of TMT’s 33 Quality of Life Indicators. Nominations for this year’s 10th Anniversary event will be accepted through April 30.
“ATP salutes the positive aspects of life in the Truckee Meadows and the people and organizations that make a measurable difference,” TMT Executive Director, Karen Hruby, said. “We are asking for help in identifying these shining stars in our community.”
Silver Star nomination forms are available online at http://www.truckeemeadowstomorrow.org. Approximately 1,500 individuals attend the luncheon celebration. This year’s ATP event will be held on Friday, October 5 in the Rose Ballroom of John Ascuaga’s Nugget.
