GUEST SPEAKER: Paul Epstein, National Author, Results that Matter

Ever wonder how citizens measure what’s important in other areas of the country?  Or how those measures lead to real changes and quality of life improvements?  Then please join TMT for a reception hosted by Sierra Pacific Power Company, and hear what national author/speaker, Paul Epstein has to say.

Paul Epstein, Principal of Epstein & Fass Associates, a New York City-based consulting firm, is one of the authors of a new book, Results that Matter, which presents new tools for community improvement—especially through performance measurement and citizen engagement—and TMT is one of the featured case studies in the book.  As a community leader who is interested in maintaining and improving the quality of life we all enjoy in the Truckee Meadows, you’ll learn from ideas and examples in other communi¬ties, and hear about leading edge initiatives that are improving quality of life in our region.

The reception is free to 2006 TMT members and $10 for non-members, and will be held in the auditorium at Sierra Pacific Power Company (6100 Neil Road, Reno).  Attendees should not park in the main customer lot off Neil Road, but behind the building in the employee lot off Delucchi Lane.

Sierra Plaza Parking:  From 395, take Neil Road exit.  Turn east and cross South Virginia Street.  Turn right on De¬lucchi Lane to employee parking entrance gate, and park in main employee parking area.  Enter building at the main employee building entrance.
