Truckee Meadows Tomorrow’s April 27 General Membership Meeting Will Feature Open Space and Greenway

What are greenspaces? What do greenspaces have to do with the Truckee Meadows? Come find out at the next Truckee Meadows Tomorrow (TMT) general membership meeting, set for Tuesday, April 27, 2004 beginning promptly at 7:30 AM at Washoe Medical Center.
The meeting will feature Arlo Stockham, Senior Planner, Community Development for the City of Reno. Learn more about the development of a new Open Space and Greenway Plan, how joint commissions are planning to work together, and how you can get involved. Representatives from Parks & Recreation will join Stockham to answer questions.
A new Open Space and Greenway Plan could directly affect TMT’s quality of life indicators in the natural environment category. New recreation models could also impact tourism visits, stimulating economic vitality across the region. The meeting should be of importance to anyone interested in open space, parks, trails or learning more about new ways of connecting communities across the Truckee Meadows.
The meeting will be held in the Remedees meeting rooms at Washoe Professional Center, just behind Remedees restaurant. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served, no reservations are needed and convenient free parking is available in the parking garage off Second St. Guests, as well as members, are invited to attend.
