About the Event

The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting our children in ways we are only beginning to understand. As our educators attempt to  rethink and transform their work what have they learned? What is working and what still needs improvement? Local experts discuss our greatest educational obstacles and opportunities during these unprecedented times and address specific topics such as the transition to distance learning, inequities in our student population, impacts on children's mental health, new educational technologies and more.

Join us in this monthly speaker series to learn about critical local issues that impact your quality of life here in the Truckee Meadows.  Each month we will focus on a specific different area of quality of life.  For April, we will take a deeper look at what our challenges and opportunities within our Northern Nevada education system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
