After months of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to officially announce the launch on June 1, 2020. We wanted to our new website to communicate the bright future of not only our organization but of our entire Truckee Meadows community.
As a community leader for more than 25 years, it’s important for TMT to make information regarding our collective quality of life data and community engagement/education initiatives as easily accessible as possible. We endeavor to provide the community with the most accurate, timely, relevant information and share our knowledge and expertise in the field of quality of life community indicators. To do this we are connecting you with TMT's two new and popular initiatives: the Nevada Tomorrow Community Data Tool and the Community Conversation Speaker Series.
The Nevada Tomorrow Community Data Tool (found through this site or directly at NevadaTomorrow.org provides a free, dynamic, easy to use, one-stop digital resource for access to community quality of life data. Here you will find up-to-date demographic, environmental, economic, educational, health, social determinant and equity data that compares local, state, and national goals and prior values, side by side.
The Community Conversation Speaker Series is a year-long speaker series for community members to learn about critical local issues that impact our quality of life here in the Truckee Meadows. Each month local experts will shed light on the obstacles and opportunities we face as a community in areas such as Health & Wellness, Education & Lifelong Learning, Economic Wellbeing, Land Use, the Arts & Cultural Vitality, our Natural Environment, and more.
Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors an easier way to learn about Truckee Meadows Tomorrow's data and community education offerings and to browse information based on their own choice. The new website gives better access to Who We Are, What We Do, Find Data, Understand Indicators, Blog and the upcoming, Community Report Card, as well as improved events pages such as our Community Conversation Speaker Series.
Our northern Nevada community will find useful information about our education and engagement offerings on the homepage of our website. The Community Report Card will highlight the areas where we as a community have positively moved the needle towards improved quality of life for our northern Nevadan community.
Amongst the new features the site contains integrated social media buttons for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to foster improved communication with the community. We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, cutting edge thought leadership, data points that are interesting and relevant, organizational announcements and community successes in the Blog, News and Events. You can also sign up for our TMT Monthly newsletter.
